Jakarta Fashion Week 2012: Lee Cooper Show

In the last weeks of the super busy month, November, I attended this once-a-year big event hold by one of Indonesia's women magazine, Femina Group, a week with 150 models, 150 designers, and countless fashion trend, The Jakarta Fashion Week 2012.

Am i attending all of the shows? hell no i am not. I only attended 3 shows, which are Lee Cooper fashion show, ESMOD Jakarta fashion show, and the last but not least, MANGO ft fashion blogger Heidy Kalalo fashion show.

This isnt gonna be a long post because i will review the fashion show one by one, start with Lee Cooper fashion show.

Who doesnt know Lee Cooper anyway?
Lee Cooper is a British jeans label established in 1908 by Morris Cooper and Louis Maister themselves. One of the biggest jeans label, lee cooper present you many looks for men and women, inspired by indie things which comes in playful colors.
Also introduce you guys to their new denim, The dry denim. The dry denim are jeans which never be-stone-washed.
Those jeans are more than great! jeans never been this awe-sum! i personally give lee cooper two thumbs up for the collection. Congrats lee cooper! you beat it:)

Review: Pretty Young Things First Collection; The good, The bad, The weird

The Pretty Young Things is coming to the town!

They'll hit us with 3 brand new collection: The Good, The Bad, and The Weird.

The good

Is a collection based on a preppy look. I love how P.Y.T present preppy look in a great way. With the combination of white, beige, and cream, this preppy cute collection is a must have thing!

The bad

Who cant be bad sometimes? The bad is a subline collection which contain with dark color. I totally in love with the see-through shirt! i definitely love how P.Y.T brings the dark color into a great piece of clothes.

The Weird

Weird is the only one, weird is cool!. This is what i find from The Weird. I was like oh-em-ge oh-em-ge oh-em-ge this collection is a-yayness!!!" Consist with fun pattern, colorful color, and cute design, P.Y.T is really smart!

Call me late because fall already on, but We Are All Curious really makes my curiousity increasing, from the first time i read the e-mail. We are all curious showing their awe-someness.

We are all curious brings our summer with an un-usual style. Most of brand bring summer in a cute, colorful, mini, and fun thing, but not for we are all curious take us to feel the darkness of summer vibe. Oh damn! its great!

Hey bloggies

Have been centuries since my last oh-so-amateur make up post hahaha. Thank you for your advice on my last post by the way.

Been busy with school stuffs always be the only reason. Yep the assignments kill my day actually--sight-- Im sorry for being a very bad blogger, please forgive me please PLEASE or i'll kill ya(muahahha im joking you know. I dont even want to take a look at a knife or sharp thingy. My phobia).

And yeah, i also preparing for some projects. If you follow my twitter, you know that i often make photoshoots. Since i got my semi-slr camera, my hands always itch to take some shoots and edit photos. I still have zillions of unedited photos on my hard disk hahahaha. But i still have secret project. Been working for this secret project since July, i'll tell ya later for the details ;p

This last month of summer (read: August!) has filled with gloomy feeling. Stressed me out. Those things above(school and projects) are only two from many problems that i've to face. Idk why, but yeah, i shud not feel gloomy, im trying to smile often and joking a lot, but its not working. That's why my mom sent me to my aunty house so i can play a lot and having fun. I think she is sooo right. I'm playing a lot here and also do shopping HAHAHA. We were going to Senen and Mangga Dua last week, and i found this superb vintage dress!

Its Summer day already. Holidays are on their way yihaaaa

Im not planning to go anywhere just staying at my hometown yeah!!

4.And about the beauty essentials, my mom bought me a H&M eyeshadow kit with many bright color! perfectly fit my summer day:) and the eyeliner, bought my self one from face shop.

Virus(s) and the other lifes

There lots of school-things which are sooo tempting. My school has a different curiculum and program with other school. We have the same program like university, its a little bit confusing*sigh*
The worst experience during this week is..... my usb got virus and all of my blog files are missing and unabled to open! Holly crab!!!!!!!!
I dont know how can those virus(s) come to my purple usb. Lucky me, still got the file(s) at my mom's laptop:)
The good news is, now im officially a part of student council. They pick me for art section, GUHREATTT:)

Nina Nikicio, one of Indonesia's best designer (and my all time favorite!), made a collaboration with 5 photographers from Singapore and Indonesia to make 5 great dresses. The goal of this collaboration is to make an earth-friendly dresses, and yeah that's really nice. Not only that, these dresses have extra-ordinary printed; which are their own photo shots.

When did you start blogging and why you choose fashion blogging?

I started my blog on June 2009. Its actually a photography, art, and fashion-related blog... But one of my biggest passion is vintage fashion, and i got a lot of supports from other blogger to give more highlight on the fashion posts, so then i managed to make my blog used mostly for my fashion ramblings. Apparently many people visiting, so i keep going on :)

Who is your fashion icon?

My fashion icon is Audrey Hephburn definitely, also Faye Dunaway and Elisabeth Taylor. I adore old-time european and Hollywood actresses. But now, i'm into Zooey Deschanel and Chloe Sevigny quite a lot.

Where is your favorite shopping place?

I love Etsy! They got plenty vintage shops with good conditions... But for new goodies i pretty enjor Topshop and Zara

Can you give us some tips for styling?
The best way to style yourself is: dont copy other style.item from magazines or net, but adsorb the inspiration then blend everything together with your own personal taste. And remember: just ignore the "fashion dont" or "fashion do's", in fashion everything is legal!

I'll not choose the hot club haahaa. I spend my sat-night in a mall, or cafe with my best girls and boys. Sometimes, i only spend my saturday with my mom snacking and movie marathon till night. And if i get a time, i'll go to catch some movies marathon in cinema with my love:)

Oh my, what a hectic week! Many activities i have to do during this week (although, i'm already passed the jhs)..... mmmkay

But, during this oh-so-hectic week, i had a really great story and i really want to share it with you all bloggies. And here is the story.....

On a sunny Saturday 15th May 2010 afternoon , i had a met up with my cuties; kak Fika, Arin, Lalita, Han in Solaria SkyDinning Plaza Semanggi. At the first, i arranged this met up with Mira, but unfortunately, she can't made it:(.

We talked about anything, but most of it, we talked about bloggers. We share anything about our blog, gave some comment for many bloggers, and also talked about new bloggers. There are many new bloggers around here, and i really welcoming them! And if you all want to exchange link, following my blog, following my tweet, or follow yours, please let me know about it! Its kinda different from former collection which is sexy. Now, she brings us to the sweetest collection.

Squeered toe pumps. What do you think about this shoes???? what ever you say, that shoes is totally "awsome!"
And also, the oh-so-great fur skirt, isnt that lovely? ME?LIKE IT(Y)

The designs are full of dress, highwaisted, bow, flowerry details, long sleeve , with many "bright" and "black" color which i really adore. Some of the dresses are show some skins, but its not looking to sexy. And, you know, its kinda 60's anyway. How i say about this situation. Oh, hell ya i dont know.

Afternoon bloggy-o!
Its a lazy day that i have

I just cant describe and tell to you all about what happening on yesterday untill now. In my head only this really (sorry) damn word; UAN.
I already mentioned to you all that Indonesian students, every senior year, wether its primary school, junior high school(just like me), and senior high school have to do this final test.

And i got stress to be honest for all UAN thingy and also study things. I am not a type of clever girl and always- study- girl. My scores in all subject are not good, but not too bad. Just ordinary scores that i have, around 60, 70, or sometimes 80. And, yeah its a secret by the way, my mom still yelling me for studying. And not often, she always begging to me for studying.

Oh well, and also about the love life. Its not true, huh? oh well i wish.

I just dont know what-to-say and what-to-write right now, but i have a little story about a little teenage girl. Behold everyone! 1....2....3........

Ripped Girl

Her name is Abigail. She's only 15 years old know. Lookin' in to her magic mirror and say "Mirror mirror on the wall, what i have to wear now!". The magic mirror still silent. She try to do the same thing, but the the magic mirror still keep silent."I think i have to wear something fierce like cut-out and ripped!i have to make it! I need Tay-Tay, Tav-Tav,and Marc jacbs!" say Abigail . So, she decided to go out from her room. Her mom, Lulu Chang, sit on her favorite sofa and watching her favorite tv series, Glee. Abigail look at her mom and say"Mom, where's my two beloved chikitaz, Tay-Tay and Tav-Tav?" and her mom answer"I think Tay-Tay go out with her boyfriend, Robby(Robby is Robert Pattinson 's nickname) and Tav-Tav in her desk for updating her blog". After hear that, Abigail leave her mom and take her Phillip Lim 3.1 coat and run away to her folks friend, Marc Jacobs.
"Marc...Marc! hello!" shout Abigail in front of Marc's house. There is no answer from his house. She try once again to shout her folks friend, but still no answer. "Okay! i will not go to Parsons right now(ps:Parsons is her school), just go home and start doing something!" shout Abigail. Sooo, she run away to her home, and go to her room. She quickly grab her legging, white t's, and also a scissors." I have no time now! no matter there are no Tavi, Tay-Mom,and also Marc Jacbs, i have to cut and ripped these! time to make your own masterpiece without any advicer!" say Abigail to her self. So she made her own ripped legging and cut-out her t's. She feel so proud to her new masterpiece; Ripped and Cut-Out;made by her self.

Hey night night my adorable bloggy-o!

Hey nighty-night all!

Heh, this is the most hectic month i've ever had i think. Many- many activities are trying to kill my self. Start from this week, my day is full of school - thingy and courses. And i have a new habit since this week, guess it, STUDYING. Yeah, i have to study a lot for high school placement test and also UAS and UAN

And talking about high school, this Saturday and Sunday (9-10 January) i have a placement test in Tarakanita Catholic Senior High School and also at 30-31 January in Gonzaga Chatolic Senior High School. My mom and i made a decision that i have to do many placement test in only Catholic School in Jakarta. Wis me luck yaaaaaa!!!!!

Beside that, i have to live-in for one week at Klaten, Central Java. So, for one week, i will not in Jakarta huhuhuuuu.

Soooooo, i just wanna say that i have to reduce my blogging time right now huuu so sad yeah really. But dont worry, i will reply all your comment and update my blog once a week. So, keep reading and leave a comment ya in my bloggy:)))

A little bit boring to have a holiday without friends beside me. And now i feel that i want to go to school.
A little bit funny right? when you're stuck with many examination and assignment, you feel that you need some rest time (holiday) and when you in your holiday and getting board with your holiday, you feel that you wanna go to school:(((

Remember to my last post? Yeah about that sucks guys. Now i can explain to you all that i'm totally feel more better than yesterday. Thank you for all bloggers that leaving a comments and give me many many many advice for me.

Because of this case, now i learn again about how to face the world. Not only "People are forever finding wrong with you" but how to face many many problem in the world with a "smile".

To be honest, i want to cry when i saw the comment. Ya, i know, just a comment but the words is sooo hurting me anyway. Face your world with your smile no matter there are a million thousands people hate you!!!!

So now, i really really ready for moving on, woohooo!

Its inspired by one of Gogirl! magazine issue about make-over (so sorry, i forgot what month that the make-over issue publish. I think its August, the body issue yeah so sorry for forgetting-,-). "People are forever finding wrong with you"

I already hear(actually, it is supposed to be “know”) that sentence since i got Gogirl’s agenda bonus at June.

At the first, i dont even realize the sentence and didnt know whats the meaning is. And i never know that at the future that i really really really need it.

Its about yesterday, or two days ago, there is a guy/girl named “kakak kelas lo” wrote a comment on my cbox with a bad opinion. I know, yeah, people have their own opinion, but, can you write your opinion with a GOOD words?????? such as with an apoligizing words(sorry, i think?). You, whatever your name is, imagine that the comment is belong to you? what can you do, ha? That day, i was sooooo confused! many many friends come and say many "motivation" words and sentences. The best came from Kak Silvi from crunchy cheese me. In her comment, she said:

by the way about your shout out posting on your blog, it is written from ‘kakak kelas lo’. Oh my geez she/he is very cruel :( i think you’re pretty much do a good effort on your style ) .

and also my sister who wrote a comment on my cbox too hehehe:)

And now, the other “rude” sent me a “BAD” comment again, in my cbox, 10 minutes ago. Geez, this one wrote his/her name as “RASTAMAN” and his/her comment is more more more cruel than “kakak kelas lo”.

See how cruel is he/she?

And now, i know what’s the meaning of that sentence. In our life, there are Friends, enemy, and frienemies. We cant live in this world without friends, so do enemy. AND , peoples out there are not all say the good thingy about us, and also bad thingy. People are not always look at your goodness, also finding mistake on your self. So, now i think i start to except any bad thingy from people cause… “People are forever finding wrong with you…”

What a great and hectic day, isnt it?
I think so-,-

This month can be the most-great-hectic-month. How can? Yeah you know, this month is full of many, many, and many things that i worried about around me. And all the things start from:

1st.Final Exams
I hate exams, cause i always worried about my score. Final exams that tried to kill me since last Tuesday-,-. I need some extras time for studying, so, after school, i take a nap for a while, than wake up and take a bath than go to my course for studying. After that, studying again at house untill 11.00 am!. Than, at 4.00 am in the morning, studying for an hour before i take a bath and go to school-,-. Seriously, i need more rest time!!!!

2nd. Senior High School
Well, now i'm in 9th grader so i have to find a very best high school for me. Is it public school or whatever. I just confused for finding school and a little bit scared i f i can't find a great school for me, but, to be honest, i already choose many school and i will do the placements test in January, wish me luck yaaaa

3rd. UAN/UAS
For Indonesian elementary, junior high, and senior high school's student need to have UAN and UAS. UAN and UAS are just the same with Examination Test for passed elementary/junior high/senior high to the next level. This is the number one i worried about!!!! Feeling soooo afraid for this folks! really really really afraid of this.

4th. Report Card
Not a secret anymore, everybody must be afraid with this two words, report card:(

But, beside all of these things, i've got a little surprise, but, i think not a little, but a big surprised!!! I'm featured in look 10 and got an award too:)))) a very big thanks from me to you, vicen!!!!

Planned to watch New Moon with my beloved Tasha and Bita last Friday and oh my! New Moon is soooo aw-mazing . I totally adore Alice Cullen's style and admiring Isabella Swan's hairstyle:).
Altough i don't like the story cause Edward Cullen's scene isn't too much but, I still love New Moon cause there are many "great" action and daring scene about sacrifice. Its totally a two thumbs up movie!!!! You have to watch New Moon!!!!. And i cant wait for the next Twilight Saga, Eclipse!

Hey remember at the last post i promised to you all that i want to post something about this GREAT month? sooo, this is my post about this month and reasons why i LOVE this month!

1st. It's my bday
Yea well you all know, now i'm getting bigger and older. 15th years old already!

2nd.It's PL CUP!!!!!Get a real challenge in this event! we prepared this event for 3 months and this is what we got, A VERY GREAT EVENT......

3rd. A LOTTA love from my family:)))

I know i know, my family is already love since i was in my mom's stomach but i think my relation with my family is getting closer this month altough my mom still yelling me in the morning(sight)

Fill my emptyness with draw a sketch. Yep, since i was in kindergarten, i like to painted anything, like; nature,people, etc. But i started draw a sketch when i was in 4th grader cause i got inspired by my sister, nindita. When she was in high school, she won a competition and met our fabs designer, Oscar Lawalata! yes, that Oscar Lawalata!
And now, i try to do my sketch and Lady Gaga is my biggest inspiration. The other inspiration i got from Bjork, Karen O, Betsey Johnson, Jean Charles De Castelbajac. But, however, they're all sooo wonderfull and inspiring:)))).
But, i think sketching it's not my passion, it's only a serious hobby. And what do you think about it? is it good or not? Tell me!!!!!!
